A collaborative effort by Friends of Mt. Rubidoux, Mission Inn Foundation & Museum, and the Riverside Land Conservancy to ensure that the peak of Mt. Rubidoux property is substantially preserved in its current state, reasonably maintained, and kept accessible to members of the public for their enjoyment.
The Riverside Municipal Museum currently has an exhibit running that features John Muir. The exhibit mainly focuses on Muir's contributions as a scientist, but it also features several photos and displays about John Muir on Mt. Rubidoux and communication between him and Frank Miller.
This is but another bit of our rich history that includes Mt. Rubidoux. This exhibit will be running through January 2014 and is worth checking out.
The Museum is located at 3580 Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside. You can find more information on their website.
